Bozeman, Montana Mommy & Me Session
i met Rebecca as she’s a talented nail technician! i was her first client here in Bozeman and after i heard she had two littles, i just knew i needed to have them in front of the camera. we agreed that a mommy and me session close to mothers day was perfect!
we choose to meet at Glen Lake Rotary Park in Bozeman, Montana for a gorgeous location that gave the girls room to roam. it’s always important to me to have a location that littles can explore and be kids. i think it makes for better photos and gives them a break from constantly being being asked to smile at the camera. over the years, photographing kids and their constant awe for life has been a strong muse. the way they see the world from their little vantage points warms my heart.
in hopes of a golden hour glow, we aimed to start around 6:45 PM. unfortunately, we were met with partly cloudy vibes, but i think it worked out exactly as it needed to be. (as life tends to do! ◡̈ )
i truly had the best time wandering around! between the field and the woods, there was no lack of giggles, flower picking and exploring. sessions like this are such a good reminder that photographs to not need to feel overly posed to be meaningful. sometimes the smallest in-between moments end up saying the most.
a perfect evening for sure.
